Don’t worry, we will not do any tricks like the professional diver Francisco de Rosario in the picture on the right. The course is not a matter of acrobatics. It is about relaxing even deeper and arriving deeper at your own inner space.
Have a fascinating time, synchronizing the depth of your inner being with the depth of the outside. You will learn a lot about observing and controlling inner processes and will thus improve your diving performance. Usually, this is reflected in diving time, diving distance and diving depth and certainly in an extended dimension of joy.
Our brain is the highest oxygen consumer. This thinking machine is on a life of its own most of the time, constantly escapes our consciousness. It takes awareness from our body. We thus consume more oxygen, more muscular energy, our heartbeat is faster than necessary, we lose our concentration and focus, our flow of movement is no longer ideal. This offers great potential for EVERY diver, whether pro or leisure Apnoea Diver. Even if you already have experience in meditation, in fact even if you practice regularly, I guarantee you to accompany you on the path to an even “deeper” level within yourself.
What makes me so confident? The feedback that I have been getting for years. Since my youth, I have been engaged in mental and psychological processes. Sports coaches and my past as a tae-kwon-do fighter gave me access to techniques that train the concentration, focus and efficiency on a mental level. Over the years, teachers and workshops further initiated me into the secrets of meditation. More focus on the experience of being beyond the stream of thoughts. Introspection, reflection, mindfulness, practice of being present, true silence, perception of space.
I have been acting as a meditation teacher for the yoga teacher training of the “Bund freies Yoga” most recently. I have given many seminars and lectures. My thesis for the training as an AIDA freediving instructor, of course, also addresses the topic of meditation. The experiences in silence and with silence are often linked to very subtle inner processes. This requires a fine-tuned choice of words in order to teach successfully. For this reason, I only offer this module for interested persons speaking German or English for the time being.
